I had to move out at short notice due to an urgent matter, however I paid for the whole year ahead. It's a one year fixed contract, so it’s not possible to agree to terminate it. However the landlord said it’s possible for me to find a replacement and for them to arrange a take over of my contract. So I am currently looking for someone to move in as soon as possible, and leave the money I have already paid for the first quarter of the year.
I am happy for the person to live there for free till 22/11/24 as well as to leave the deposit for them covered, with an arranged understanding they will pay for the rest of the year.
Meaning that instead of paying £11,417.29 of yearly fees +£500 deposit, this person will only have to pay £8,563 + no deposit.
The apartment was cleaned and all things moved out.
