I represent Aspinall Student Houses, a family business engaged in student lets in Lenton, Nottingham since the 1970’s. We have always adopted the most up to date housing standards and joined the DASH code when it started. We give students the opportunity and enjoyment of having a house to themselves with the responsibility of running it, including decorating their own rooms. We operate on a direct person to person basis – we do not have agents and do not charge fees for introductions or contract preparations. I recommend anyone interested in applying for a house speak to the current tenants first – they give the best appreciation of our service.

All our houses are in the Lenton Sands area, a prime student area, close to Derby Road and its amenities. Both universities and the city centre are in easy reach by bus. They have generous similarly sized bedrooms (all with double beds), kitchen diners and, in most houses, lounges. All are double glazed and insulated. The summer maintenance program keeps up high decorative and maintenance standards throughout.

We have contractors available on call (but not 24 hour) for heating, electrical, minor repairs and lockouts. Our contractors have been have been with us many years and have in depth knowledge of the house systems. We run fixed price contracts on behalf of tenants for gas and electricity to keep down costs. We use the Unipol recommended Tenancy Deposit Scheme for insuring deposits, and the Unipol model tenancy agreements.
