Peter Treagus Private Landlord: Dash Code Gold
First Class Accommodation has been in the property letting market in the Beeston area for 30 years, specialising in student lets for the past 20 years. I live locally in Beeston and prefer to use a, personal, hands on approach. I have been a member of Unipol, Dash Code since its introduction and a University accredited landlord prior to that since 1997. I am a member of the committee that arbitrates deposit disputes for Unipol. I regularly attend Unipol’s Owners Consultative Group Forums. We are a family business and I am assisted by my wife with the back up help of my son and daughter when the need arises.
Our speciality is communicating with overseas students who clearly have to source accommodation without viewing. We are able to give detailed information of the houses and location and can organise all paperwork to secure a tenancy via e-mail.
We do not make any letting charges to our tenants and include the internet, water rates and TV licence charges in the rent.
If there are any problems regarding the properties we prefer that they are reported promptly so that we are able to action all repairs swiftly. I have been in the building industry all my working life and undertake the majority of the repairs personally, where that is not possible I only use trusted tradesmen that I have used for years. I can be contact by phone and e-mail for any out of hours’ emergencies including the loss of door keys.
We tend to retain many of our tenants throughout their stay in Nottingham some having stayed with us for 4 years. As a parent I understand the problems that some young people may have when leaving home and always try to help solve any issues they may have in a sympathetic way.
It is our policy to keep the condition our properties in good repair and have recently up graded the wall and loft insulation where possible and have replaced any inefficient gas boilers. All the properties have a sitting room with a wide screen TV and a 50meg WiFi connection so skype is available.

Dear Peter and Janet
The day has nearly come!
I would just like to thank you both for everything. Staying at number 39 has been a real pleasure, the boys and I have loved it. I hope the house is the way you would like it and if there is anything I need to do please don't hesitate to contact me. Freddie, Ollie and I would like to wish you all the best for the future.
Once again many thanks.
Kind regards
Rebecca
Next year will be our third year in this house (we are a couple, and all rooms feature double-beds): we have decided to stay because the location is great (in front of Coop, 5 minutes to Tesco and the bus station, 2 minutes. from railway station) and well served by public transport. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms which is quite uncommon and makes things easier; the kitchen is clean and well-equipped; the living room is a good space to invite friends for an evening together. There is also a garden and a shed where you can store your bike. Although the house is not very new, the furniture in the rooms is new, and our landlord has always been really kind, keeping things at a good quality standard (he bought a new micro and a new toaster as these were having problems, he regularly cut the grass in the garden) and fixing things when they need to be fixed. In sum, we feel that this place is good value for money and provides a quiet and enjoyable environment.
