The Director of the company, John Buxton, bought his first property 25 years ago and began specialising in student accommodation in 1989. From the very beginning we aimed to provide high quality, well maintained accommodation at fair and reasonable prices. Although times and students' expectations have changed this ethos still applies. Our property portfolio is constantly being updated to ensure we are providing what students want from their accommodation and we aim to ensure that our properties are as much like a 'home-from-home' as they can be. We currently own 39 properties in the most popular student areas of Nottingham and as a family business are able to provide both a professional and personal service and respond to any issues quickly and effectively.

On a day to day basis the Buxton Properties core team is made up of John, Matthew and Sarah who let and manage the properties; as well as a full time general maintenance man for dealing with any general repair issues that may arise. We also have a team of specialist tradespeople who respond promptly and effectively to any other maintenance issues that may come up. They understand that you want your life to be as hassle free as possible and so aim to carry out any necessary repairs with the minimum of fuss and disturbance to our tenants.
