About Us

Rob and I have been letting to students from Nottingham University since 2007, when our daughter was a student there. We aim to provide a comfortable, modern home environment - we want our students to have a happy and enjoyable experience in our property.  To this end we carry out a regular programme of maintenance, decoration and improvements each Summer.  

We manage the property ourselves, as this leads to the quickest resolution of any issues that may arise, as tenants can contact us directly via email, landline or mobile - we pride ourselves on responding to any issues quickly. 

We have a good group of local workmen in the area, with whom we have built up a close working relationship over the years - as illustrated by an email from previous tenants:

‘Just to let you know, called Ashley and they came out today. The timer was broken so they took it out and so it's now working. They'll be back later and will replace the timer with a new one. Quickest call out ever, phoned them up and they were here within 15 minutes! Which is pretty impressive.’

​ ​Additionally, we ensure that the Central Heating is serviced annually and that all major appliances are under contract in case of breakdown.

We employ an independent company to compile the Inventory and also to check the condition of the property against the Inventory at the end of the tenancy, as we feel that this is fairest for both us and our tenants.  We protect our tenants’ deposits using ‘mydeposits’, a government-authorised tenancy deposit protection scheme.
