About Us

Baxter Real Estate Limited (BREL) was set up by Martin Baxter and is a family run business.  Martin has been a landlord with Unipol for over 30 years (since 1986).  Martin’s two children, Adam Baxter and Amanda Russell, also help to run the business.

The business consists of 12 houses, which are all let out to students.  These range from 4 beds up to 7 beds.  All of the properties are maintained to a high standard and are updated on a regular basis.  Every summer all of the houses are redecorated where necessary and relevant work is done to ensure that all of the houses are in good condition.  

BREL aims to provide as good a service as possible to all tenants, so that that they leave with lasting memories of a good time at University in Leeds.

Martin, Adam and Amanda aim to build a good relationship with all tenants, so that tenants feel happy to approach them anytime, as needed. 

Martin, Adam and Amanda are always contactable and sympathetic to the needs of their tenants and try to ensure that any problems are sorted out as quickly as possible.  If there are problems, tenants will always be kept informed. 

Fees/Rent/Deposits

No fees are charged, only the agreed deposit and rent.  We advise tenants to set up a monthly or quarterly Standing Order to pay their rent.  All deposits are protected by Unipol’s Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
