PJ Sheard Properties was set up by my late father, Peter Sheard, around 35 years ago. Peter was one of the first "professional" landlords in Leeds and a founding member of the Unipol Code of Standards. He was a longstanding commitee member for Unipol and frequently attended and contributed to meetings with Leeds City Council when they were setting up the Leeds Landlords Accreditation Scheme. We continue to this day to be members of Unipol, LLAS, The Residential Landlords Association (RLA) and The Leeds Property Association (LPA) as we feel that continual professional development and networking with other landlords is extremely important in this ever changing and improving profession.

I (Rebecca) now manage the business and I am the main point of contact for everything. My mobile is on 24/7, however we have an alternative emergency contact for times I may be away and not able to answer the phone straight away.

We have a team of highly skilled tradesmen who work around the LS6 area every day and repairs are always dealt with the upmost priority.

When selecting one of our properties we always ensure you have had access to the agreement we use prior to signing up and we always recommend you get this checked and approved by Unipol for your own piece of mind. We try keep the deposit amount to a minimum and protect this through the Deposit Protection Service run through Unipol within all recommended and legal timescales. On arrival in your property you will find all the necessary safety certificates, HMO license, aswell as any other important, practical and local information to enable you to enjoy your accomodation from the start. I am on hand for any initial queries you have and will happily visit you to go through any specific things such as using the boiler, how to work the burglar and fire alarm systems etc etc. In summary, we try our hardest to provide you with a stress and problem free accomodation service which enables our tenants to focus on the real reason they came to University- their education of course!
