HDP Property is a family run company, started in 1968 by Mr D A Parmar. Since 2003, his son Hemant Parmar and wife (Solicitor) now run the business. HDP Property is forward-thinking and even though its portfolio is select and steadily growing, it is gaining a reputation in the students and professionals letting market due to its customer-focused approach with a personal touch and excellent overall management.
Our focus has been to provide high-quality properties predominantly to the student market and provide a safe-haven and a conducive environment for students to carry out their work and to live. The properties are very well maintained and are personally and directly managed by us, so that tenants do not have to deal with any third-party Agents. Everything is done in a very professional manner using a hands-on approach with excellent Service Level Agreements to ensure that everyone is left satisfied.
The business is customer-focussed. We treat our tenants as individuals and greet them by their first names and not just regard them as numbers.
This has been clearly reflected by being a FINALIST IN THE BEST VALUE DEAL LANDLORDS AWARD 2013 which was an independent poll carried out by Leeds University Union in March 2013 and voted for by tenants.

All our accommodation is renovated to the same high standard and all have double bedrooms with modern fitted furniture. Kitchens and lounges are modern and spacious. A large percentage of the tenants who rent with us stay with us the following year.
Safety of our tenants is of paramount importance and all our properties are equipped with the best quality zoned fire alarm systems, thumb-turn locks, break glasses, emergency lights, fire doors and burglar alarms.
We have a good maintenance team that can be called upon at short notice to rectify both smaller and larger problems and to ensure that they are resolved quickly. Expert technicians are also there when required for more technical and specific problems. All the kitchen and household appliances are relatively new and are covered under Maintenance Contracts, so if any problems do arise the manufacturers skilled technicians are called out to repair or replace the product.
The landlord is a member of the Unipol Code of Standards and have attained the highest status within Unipol – The Golden Owner status – where he has not had a single complaint against him since their monitoring began over ten years ago.
The Landlord is also a member of the Leeds City Council Leeds Rental Standard, The Residential Landlords Association (RLA) and the Leeds Property Association (LPA).
