Family Accommodation Managed by Unipol
Unipol has a number of large family developments in Leeds with a mixture of two and three bedroom flats. It also currently has 25 houses in the community for families with one to four children. Because many students with families are undertaking postgraduate research programmes, their study cycle often does not align with the standard academic or letting years. For this reason, properties can become vacant at any time of the year.

All Unipol’s family accommodation is let fully carpeted, furnished and with curtains. A cooker, large fridge/freezer and washer/dryer are also included in the rent. All properties are gas central heated with instant hot water (or in Grayson Heights heated by electricity).
Unipol’s family accommodation does not include cots, rail guards for beds, high chairs, play pens or stair safety gates. If you would like to use your own cot or child’s bed, Unipol will store the bed provided in order to make space. If you would like to use a stair gate in the accommodation, you may purchase one, but you must ask Unipol to install it, rather than do the job yourself.
Woodsley Terrace/Mount Preston Street, Argie Avenue and Cardigan Road have a children's play area outdoors with dedicated equipment.
Shay Street/Holborn Terrace, Woodsley Terrace, Argie Avenue, Grayson Heights and Cardigan Road all have car parking with a permited fee system. The smaller houses are directly street-side and most car parking is on the street: in some instances residents may need to purchase a parking permit from Leeds City Council for on street parking in their area.
Family Accommodation Managed by the University of Leeds
Through its partnership with Unipol, the University of Leeds is able to allocate well over 100 of Unipol’s properties for students with families and for couples.
Additionally, the University has 41 of its own small properties to let to students with families and to couples. These smaller properties are mainly flats in Victorian terraced housing situated in and around the University campus.
The size and layout of the properties vary: some have one bedroom and are suitable for a couple or a couple with a baby; others have two or three bedrooms, suitable for families with two or three children.
Rents vary according to the size and location of the property.
